"Enhance your Practice"

(Guided Vinyasa Power Yoga class)
with Guest Teacher Tamal Dodge

This is an introduction to the yogic lifestyle, a beautifully infused 90-minute power yoga class followed by 1/2hr-guided meditation. This class will challenge and encourage students of all levels. With an emphasis on alignment and instructions on becoming in-tune with your bodies needs this class gives the student practical and useful tools for a life of yoga. With a guided meditation filled with visualizations and relaxations techniques the student will walk away feeling peaceful, vibrant and healthy.

About Power Yoga

Power yoga is a vinyasa style of yoga in which one pose is linked to the next by breath. It is a vigorous class and often modeled after poses in ashtanga yoga. Power yoga increases internal heat and focus; it infuses the grace of movement with the strength of stillness.

About Tamal

Tamal has been practicing yoga his whole life. Born and raised in his family’s yoga ashram in Hawaii, he has been teaching for the last 10 years. Tamal had founded The  Yoga Collective in Santa Monica (one of the largest yoga studios in Ca). He has produced Kirtan CDs, books and articles on yoga and meditation as well as released an international yoga DVD entitled “Hatha and Flow Yoga for Beginners.”  Tamal has been featured on many television stations, yoga magazines and websites for his dynamic yoga style and spiritual outlook.  Tamal has developed a strong following nation wide and internationally. His vigorous vinyasa classes are filled with humor, music, and meditation. His yearly retreats, workshops, and teacher trainings are a way into the life and times of being a modern yogi. Tamal’s goal is to help you be in the world but not of the world, to be truly peaceful and happy.
