As a composer and performer, multi-instrumentalist Matt Venuti has made unique contributions to contemporary music genres. He and his band, The Venusians, are known for combining traditional and cutting- edge instrumentation and performing for grand scale events world-wide.
As a soloist Matt plays a contemporary innovation…a hand-crafted "sound sculpture" known as the Hang. He is widely considered one of the world's most prolific players of this heart-inspiring instrument and performs concerts and events in a variety of settings, unfolding a soulful musical journey of rhythm, melody, and resonance. "Hang" means hand in the Swiss-German Bernese dialect, and the Hang in Matt's hands is pure magic.
